Schematic Industries are fully committed to comply with their legal duties as defined in the UK under the Health & Safety At Work Act (1974) and all appropriate statutory instruments in operation in India, specifically to provide a safe working environment and absence of risk to the health and safety of all our employees and persons who may be affected by our undertakings.

The Health & Safety of our stakeholders is our top business priority and it is an fixed agenda topic on every management and board meeting. In addition to our on-site PPE safety standards, we have COSHH data sheets for all hazardous substances, liquids and solids processed in our facilities and we conduct Risk Assessments on core activities. This focus aligns perfectly with the Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) operated in the Pharmaceutical and Chemical industry sectors.

We aim to be industry leaders in our field at managing our Health & Safety program. As such we employ the latest technology to manage our companies Health & Safety audits, corrective and preventative actions and continuous improvement initiatives through real-time dashboard management in our i1-ERP business system. To ensure all employees are competent to do their tasks, and to give them adequate training.

To provide information, instruction and supervision for employees.

5s Program

Creating, Managing and Developing a Health and Safety culture, starts "at home".In our workshops we adopt a 5's approach where everything has its place. FIVE S' is a Japanese concept that is embraced in Best Practice businesses. In particular;

Our lifting equipment is colour coded and tested in accordance with the requirements of our H&S management system.
All electrical items, such as welding sets, power extensions and items that we take to customer site, are checked, certified and marked accordingly.
We also conduct walking patrol audits and record findings together with corrective and preventative actions.
Our gas bottles are labeled and segregated by gas type and working status.
